All the Year 3 and 4 classes took part in a Discovery Day of Science Investigations in September. We had three experiments in five rooms over a whole day. It was great fun going from room to room. We had a chance to see a lava lamp being made, an egg get sucked down a tube, make bubbles, do marbling with shaving foam and dye, and see the effects of yeast and warm water on a balloon. We were like real scientists who make predictions and observe what happens. We tested our hypothesis and made conclusions. There was so much to see and do - we were all buzzing. This was the provocation for the start of our Inquiry into CHANGES. Here are some of the photos of all the classes in action.
