WHEN LIFE IS TOUGH

The crowd waits. "c'mon everyone,look on the bright side!" Zed played by Nick from K3 was fantastic with his singing and dancing. He was joined by Thea, played by Issy C from Room 9 who played her role with great enthusiasm. This scene got the whole crowd clapping at the end of the Thursday night performance.

INTRODUCTION

The production started when we walked into the hall, followed by clapping from the parents and others. After we all got into our seats Maureece and Gabby came onto the stage and they welcomed everyone and told them to turn off their cell-phones. They also told everyone where the exits were in case of an emergency.Then the stage went black and someone came out of the darkness and we all went into the Zarcon warrior song. Eight boys in blue capes holding up light sabres and pointing them at people. Suddenly it went pitch black and that was the end of the introduction.

End of term 2 action with our buddies

We had a great session with our buddy class tasting their ginger beer and watching the bottles explode! The fizz sprayed everywhere but mostly over Mrs Field! It tasted great - sweet, fizzy and very refreshing. Afterwards we organised games and played basketball and soccer with them.

The Crowd Laughed and giggled,
The Aliens costumes were :
Fluro Green Dresses and Wigs
With Pink belts and the boys had green belts.

















Captain Tor came on the stage and the aliens are very interested in seeing a human for the first time they become very noisey.

As the aliens leave the stage everyone cheered and whistled!

The Blue Crystal Finale

Aliens,Shine out,Planet nine, cape dancers, robots,scientists, zarcon warriors! Everyone stands up to receive applause.
As you stand up you feel proud knowing that lots of hard work and practice has gone in to the production.
As loud as they can, the crowd cheer,chant and clap with all their might.

the zarcon warriors were fearless and  brave and strong. Don't forget they had cool make up and their light sabers were awesome. We picked up the song on the second night.The lighting was hooked up well and the people controlling the lights were perfect! The back drop was brilliant. Mrs Wong and mr Gray were so so so great doing the lights at the back of the hall. Mrs Cameron was in charge of all the sound effects and the volume. She had the ipod sussed.

Faraday centre

The Faraday centre was the best experience I have witnessed from the olden days
I liked the old phones,the arcade and the pianola.The pianola was tricky pressing hard out on the
peddles the quiz was hard, but we did get it done at the last minute.
I don't quite get the Morse code yet but I will probably achieve it next time I go.

Mr Bremer, our Principal, around the school. By Brooke and Ellie

Our job was to investigate some of what Mr Bremer does. We saw him welcome our guest speaker, Henare O'Keefe, at Friday 4th May's assembly. Mr O'Keefe talked about how he was the official ambassador of LOVE! He told us to be nice to everyone and to read books. Mr Bremer asked him to help give out Principal's awards. Here they are in action!
