Just how big is the blue whale?

Caitlin and Claudia were amazed to read the big blue whale really IS BIG! They decided to measure outside to see just how long 33 metres was. They started at the library wall and measured all the way to to outside Room 13 and the edge of the garden with grasses! That is really big!!

They decided it must be as wide as the concrete path too and went back to do more research for their sea creature inquiry.
